Yukon Tourism Jobs Platform Announcement

Partnership Announcements

A dedicated recruitment platform connecting Yukon tourism businesses with job seekers committed to working in the North

Whitehorse, Yukon — Bizont and the Tourism Industry Association of the Yukon (TIA Yukon) are pleased to announce the official launch of YukonTourismJobs.ca, a recruitment platform built specifically to help Yukon tourism employers connect with local, national, and international candidates who are actively seeking to work in the territory.

Developed and operated by Bizont in partnership with TIA Yukon, the platform responds directly to the persistent hiring challenges facing Yukon’s tourism sector — including the seasonal nature of the industry and the difficulty of sourcing specialized or hard-to-fill talent.

YukonTourismJobs.ca provides a focused, industry-specific space where employers can reach a curated and growing pool of motivated job seekers.

Following a six-month soft launch, the platform already offers Yukon tourism employers access to hundreds of registered candidates across three streams: local high school students exploring careers in tourism, post-secondary students and recent graduates from Canadian hospitality and tourism programs, and experienced tourism professionals actively seeking long-term roles in the Yukon. Each stream reflects the real range of hiring needs Yukon tourism operators face.

“Expanding the tools and resources available to our members is central to TIA Yukon’s mandate, and YukonTourismJobs.ca is a strong addition to that,” said Caroline Anderson, Executive Director of TIA Yukon.

“This platform was conceived and designed here in the Yukon, for Yukon’s tourism industry. Supporting local industry through innovative, purpose-built solutions informed by Northern context and understanding is central to Bizont’s mission,” said Marcos Castillo, CEO of Bizont.

Looking ahead, the platform is designed to grow, and could potentially evolve to support tourism operators more broadly across the Arctic.
