What do you focus on in your role at Bizont?

I focus on business development, account management, and growth strategy. That includes identifying new business opportunities, managing day-to-day client communications and commercial discussions, and aligning our sales and marketing efforts to support long-term growth.

What’s a part of your job that people might not realize you handle?

I’m also involved in shaping our content — from blog posts and (upcoming) case studies, to planning campaign themes. I work closely with Tatiana to ensure our marketing voice aligns with what’s being communicated in my one-on-one conversations with clients. It’s important that the tone, messaging, and value we convey in our content reflects the real conversations we’re having every day.

What’s one project or initiative at Bizont you’ve really enjoyed working on and why?

Initiating and leading Bizont’s brand refresh and website revision this Spring was an unexpected project and an extremely fun one. Coming into the team with a fresh perspective, I felt it was important that our brand and website reflect who we are more authentically, and how we want to show up in the North. It was a collaborative team effort to deliver in 6 weeks.

What’s one task you’d love to automate (at work or in life)?

Definitely cleaning up after meals. Planning meals, preparing and cooking for my family every day is enough work. If I could just walk away after dinner and have the kitchen magically clean itself, that would be THE dream.

If you weren’t doing this job, what’s a totally different career you could see yourself in?

I’d probably be doing something active and outdoors. I love the idea of a job where physical movement is built in, probably because I’ve spent most of my career in roles that are far less physically active and I have a hard time sitting still for long.

What’s one task you’d love to automate (at work or in life)?

I would love to automate personal calendar management. We meticulously schedule our professional lives, but often overlook dedicating time for family, friends, hobbies, and essential relaxation.

If you weren’t doing this job, what’s a totally different career you could see yourself in?

I would have pursued a career as a veterinarian, ideally specializing in exotic species. Growing up on a farm instilled in me a deep love and respect for animals.
